18-year-old friends die while on vacation in Greece
Andrew O’Donnell and Max Wall had graduated from high school this year at St Michael’s College and decided to take their group to the island to party iOS. During one evening, Andrew left his friends and was reported missing. The hectic search operations ended tragically the next morning. When his body was found lifeless on the rocks. There were clear signs of a fall that had cracked his head.
As the Mirror reported, his friend Max couldn’t cope with the news. He already had heart problems and when told his friend was dead he collapsed on the floor. Despite doctors’ efforts to revive him, he was pronounced dead at the hospital.
THE INVESTIGATION
Local police confirmed that two investigations into the double death were ongoing. The bodies of the two teenagers whose families arrived on Ios can be returned home after autopsies.
