“For months I managed to keep this thing from leaking out. I’ve been a grandmother for months, but I wanted to keep it a secret and I managed.” Barbara d’Urso, 65, announces that she has become a grandmother. He makes it Verissimo, a guest of Silvia Toffanin, in honor of the little girl dressed in pink: “I’m totally crazy about her. I’m very happy. She has blue eyes, she’s beautiful and very kind.”
“I want to make one premise about my kids – Barbara starts as soon as she arrives at the studio – On the rare times I do interviews, I stress that my kids don’t want to be talked about. The three of us are very private, and my children’s attitude is not arrogance nor an attitude towards what i do, they respect my work but they have worked and learned a lot, made sacrifices to get to the very important jobs that they do and they want “Not that they are known to be my children. Because if one of my children is speaking at a convention in New York, it is not fair that anyone should even remotely think that I have helped them. My children are very unobtrusive.”
Hence the decision to reveal the granddaughter only after the gossip magazines reported it. “I would have loved to share this news, but I respected the wishes of my son and his partner,” he continues. “She’s a hard worker, a beautiful girl”
D’Urso does not reveal which of the two sons made her a grandmother, but everything points to Gianmauro, the eldest, surgeon and born in 1986. The younger is Emanuele, two years younger than his brother, photographer and director, globetrotter. The children’s privacy – which the producer Maur Berardi had – has always been maximal and armored, as often happens to those heirs of famous people who choose not to use their parents’ popularity as a foil.
