Black Out Evening Sophie Durocher wants answers and pulls out

“Black Out Evening”: Sophie Durocher wants answers and pulls out her claws

Sophie Durocher is without a doubt a badass interviewer. She knows how to ask the right questions that allow anyone to fully understand a situation. But if the answers are slow to come… Phew!

On her QUB wireless microphone, we can tell that she wanted to get to the bottom of this event, which is scheduled to take place on February 17th. We remind you that on February 17, the National Arts Center is hosting an evening reserved for the black community.

“It was done in Toronto,” said Annabelle Cloutier, NAC’s director general of strategy and communications, in an interview with Sophie Durocher.

Ms Cloutier said the performance of the play Is God Is is to mark Black History Month and that everyone is welcome to the performance.

Still, a warning on Ticketmaster’s website, which sells tickets, is clear. It’s about “representation for black-identifying audiences.” This is a statement that Ms Cloutier says has been changed “to clarify the language”.

We can say it’s an interview, to say the least… muscular, on a very sensitive subject. We let you judge for yourself!
