Aaron Rodgers: a decision in the coming weeks

During The Pat McAfee Show podcast, the 39-year-old athlete revealed his feelings, specifying that it’s possible the Green Bay Packers confused the cards by deciding to trade him.

“I will need some more time to make a decision. I think in a couple of weeks I’ll be more comfortable with one of the decisions I have to make,” Rodgers said, hinting at the possibility of hanging up his boots.

In 2022, the Californian failed to repeat his exploits from the 2020 and 2021 campaigns, where he was named the NFL Most Valuable Player. He threw for 26 touchdowns and had 3,695 passing yards but had 12 interceptions and 32 quarterback sacks.

With nothing left to prove, Rodgers must determine if he still has the holy fire for this demanding sport.

“You have to be aware of what’s going on in your head during the season,” he said. Did you enjoy the work that much? Did you enjoy the training? Do you like the team meetings and the routine? We must not forget these feelings and must consider them before making an irrational decision.
