Hailey Bieber shares seaside bikini snaps to promote Rhode Skin… after TikTokers revealed allergic reactions to her lip treatment
Rhode founder Hailey Baldwin Bieber shared a bikini-clad slideshow of herself on vacation in an undisclosed tropical coastal location to promote the skincare company that goes by her middle name, which she founded last June.
The 26-year-old IMG model showed off her slim, 5’7″ figure in a colorful triangle top that tied at the front and posted a video of her at the beach with big bangles, a yellow tube top and a towel.
Hailey also showed her goofier side in a clip of herself in the ocean, exclaiming, “Hi! Look at me, I’m swimming!’
“A new flavor is coming next month,” Bieber — who has 66.7 million social media followers — wrote Wednesday of her $16 peptide lip treatment.
“But now you can check out our Salted Caramel, Watermelon, Unscented and [$42] lip trio now back in stock at rhodeskin.com.’

The Arizona-born beauty’s update came after several TikTokers went viral with their videos claiming that the peptide lip treatment caused allergic reactions, dry, chapped lips and dark spots on the lips.
A TikToker named @GourdLord said using the peptide lip treatment triggered her tree nut allergy, which caused her face to turn red and develop hives, and she called for a “refund and better labeling” on the packaging.
On a February 20 Rhode TikTok, the comments were peppered with customers who responded poorly, including a woman who “went into anaphylactic shock, was in the hospital for 12 days and ignored my emails.”
In the FAQ section of Rhodes’ website, the company noted, “We currently do not use any additional ingredients that are on the FDA tree nut allergy list.
“We use other nut and seed oils such as Babassu (Orbignya Oleifera Seed Oil) and Cupuaçu (Theobroma Grandiflorum Seed Butter) and are working to fully convey this ingredient information through our packaging and website in accordance with applicable federal, state and local regulations.
“In addition, our products are not made in a nut-free facility, so there is always a very small possibility of cross-contamination with tree nuts.”
In addition, Rhode Skin is still embroiled in a trademark infringement lawsuit with Phoebe Vickers and Purna Khatau, whose apparel company RHODE was founded in 2014.
