Utility-oriented models leave the Indy family to join the Voyager family. There were upgrades for models equipped with the Matryx chassis. Improvement of the flanging of the exhaust pipe jacket for noise reduction. A new oil tank cap was installed to reduce leaks. The headlight lenses have been treated with an anti-fog treatment.

To make it easier to use the cab’s 1⁄4 turn latches in cold weather, softer rubber grommets were installed. There is now a high retraction caliper to reduce pad drag on the rotor. A new, lighter brake disc with better cooling capacity was installed on RMK models. Corrections have also been made to the Bluetooth connectivity system for the navigation system.

For 2024, all Trail, Hybrid and Utility models come standard with an electric start.

MOUNTAIN, NEW ROUTE

For mountain snowmobile enthusiasts, Polaris has decided to offer a new track. The 7 series rail with 3″ beads is now replaced by the 9 series 325 rail with 3.25″ beads. It’s really designed for hiking in areas where the snow is bottomless. The engineers’ goal is to provide pilots with the ability to drive a snowmobile that is elevated during maneuvers, rather than digging trenches and getting stuck.

In deep snow conditions, the pilot responds immediately to his commands. It was designed for a top speed of 80 km/h or 50 m/h. Should you ever exceed the speed limit, you will receive a warning via an indicator that will appear on your snowmobile’s display.

This aggressive new addition is available exclusively during Snow Check in 155″ or 165″ lengths, only for RMK models with Patriot 9R and Patriot Boost engines.

All RMK models come standard with reversible ice scrapers. They feature a single coil design, attach to the rear suspension rails and are compatible with reverse gear use. Your task is to drive snow onto the tunnel to avoid overheating problems. They scrape to feed snow dust to the heat exchangers.

In snowmobile jargon, these small, often almost invisible tools are called “scratchers”.

The new version of the Indy VR 1 Turbo Boost with its 137 inch track will surely give you an impressive performance on the trail.

If we turn to the models side, the only important change is the one that affects the famous Indy VR1. This high-performance model will only be available in 137-inch gauge for 2024. So we’re dropping the 129-inch track option. This snowmobile is offered with two engine options, the Patriot Boost 850 and the 650.

All utility models in the Indy range, including the famous Adventure, are now part of the Voyageurs family. Very popular with many Quebec enthusiasts, this model still maintains its qualities as a model to live the adventure with the utmost comfort.

On mountain models, enthusiasts can count on an improved braking system. Polaris had previously identified 2022 and 2023 series Matryx, RMK, Khaos and PRO models as susceptible to brake overheating under certain operating conditions. The issue has been fixed for 2024.

Many aficionados will find that the 2024 vintage is very lacking in novelty. However, that doesn’t mean the company is sleeping. Engineers are constantly working to constantly improve the range and, most importantly, make the necessary corrections to offer enthusiasts unique snowmobiles.

That could change in the future, because the American manufacturer could start again with new top products.

If you are interested in one of the models in the Polaris series, you can quickly take advantage of all the advantages associated with a purchase from Snow Check. Multiple devices and more are available in limited quantity. All dealers inside
