(ANSA) – KIEV, MARCH 24 – From Bakhmut “we will not retreat”. This was repeated in an interview with ANSA by Mykhailo Podolyak, adviser to the Ukrainian President Zelenskyy, who stated that “there is quite intense fighting going on in all directions, at the same time we are carrying out an important mission there, we are eliminating the rest of the Russian armed forces, those who are still able to fight. But we are also gathering our resources and assembling new brigades for the counteroffensive”. And he confirms: “Yes, possible scenarios envisaged by the General Staff are being studied, which of course we cannot say, but they are there. And we are preparing prepare in two ways: on the one hand, we defend ourselves, on the other hand, we prepare for the counter-offensive.” (HAND).
