Jonathan Majors denies assaulting woman after being arrested in New York City

‘He did nothing wrong’: Creed III star Jonathan Majors’ reps deny he assaulted a woman when he was allegedly arrested and charged with ‘strangulation, assault and molestation’ in New York City

Jonathan Majors denies any wrongdoing after being arrested for assaulting a woman in New York City.

The 33-year-old Creed star was taken into custody Saturday morning on charges of “strangulation, assault and molestation,” TMZ reports, but his rep has denied the allegations.

The alleged victim, a woman, told police Majors got into an argument with her and “attacked” her.

According to a source who spoke to the publication, the alleged victim had visible injuries on her body, including a “cut behind her ear, redness and bruises on her face.” She was then taken to a local hospital and is in stable condition.

The nature of their relationship is currently unknown.

Meanwhile, the actor was tied up and immediately taken to jail as police “believed there was sufficient evidence of a probable cause.”

Police were called to the scene around 11 a.m. near the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan.

He is reportedly now out of custody.
