Laura Nuttall, who was diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforme in 2018, is fulfilling ambitious wish lists including driving a war tank and chatting with Michelle Obama.

Laura Nuttall, a 23yearold British woman, died on Monday (05/22) after battling brain cancer since 2018. When diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforme, an aggressive type of brain tumor, Laura was expected to live just 12 months after the diagnosis. Determined to make the most of the time she had left, she made a list of 20 wishes that she could fulfill before she died.

Laura’s mother, Nicola Nuttall, announced the sad news on Twitter, emphasizing her daughter’s strength and determination to the end. Nicola explained that being Laura’s mother is a real honor.

In 2021, Laura received the Make A Difference Award and opened up about her decision to stay positive and live intensely in the face of her brain cancer diagnosis. The 20 wishes Laura has granted include driving a war tank, chatting with Malala Yousafzai and Michelle Obama, getting her degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of Manchester and watching the European Women’s Football Championship final.

Laura had to face multiple surgeries while working to fulfill her wish list. In October last year she underwent major surgery to remove the brain tumors, but in December she found that the cancer had spread to other areas of her brain and was beyond control.

In addition to the above wishes, Laura has also fished with British comedians, driven unusual vehicles like a monster truck and a London Underground, had lunch with standup comedian Peter Kay, had a Johnny Marr song recorded in her honor and jumped from a parachute Among other things, he presented the weather forecast on the BBC, commanded a warship and ran a marathon.
