The Dominican Voice sues drivers and coaches for defamation

The organizers of The Voice Dominica sued the presenters and coaches of the television show for a sum of 25 million pesos.

The news was announced by the communicator Luz García, who hosted the reality show during the two broadcasts carried out in the country.

In an interview with journalist Richard Hernández, García admitted that both she and her colleagues have been charged “with defamation”.

The lawsuit arises after the program team allegedly denounced Violations of the payment agreement.

At the beginning of May, the trainers of the renowned singing competition Milly Quezada, Eddy Herrera and Alex Matos met; its drivers Luz García and Jhoel López; and its lead producer Angie Rodríguez addressed the issue a statement.

“These talents were part of this project through a formal contract that has unfortunately been broken for some time, and after discussions with the producers they were left with no choice but to go public with the situation,” reads part of the above document.

Those responsible for the program were made aware of the Ariel Nina, Nixalys Espinal and Rafael Diaz.

According to singer Eddy Herrera, The Voice Moroccana owes him $28,000 about 1 million 523 thousand 200 pesos.

While Luz García is owed an amount of approximately $22,000 1 million 210,000 pesos.
