According to the State Department on its website, his stay in the Caribbean country will be part of a tour of the region after completing official visits to Nicaragua and Venezuela.

The arrival in the largest of the Antilles will be a sign of the excellent state of political and diplomatic relations between the two countries and the will of both governments to improve economic and trade relations, the text says.
