Ashley Graham emulates Barbie glamor in BTS snaps from the set of HGTV’s Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge
On Wednesday, plus-size IMG model Ashley Graham shared glamorous behind-the-scenes snaps from the set of her next hosting gig, Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge, which premieres July 16 on HGTV.
The 35-year-old mother-of-three “had so much fun hosting the four-part reality TV competition,” which sees eight teams of renovation stars transform an ordinary Southern California home into a life-size version of the iconic Mattel toy.
“Honestly, there’s so much nostalgia that went into every single room,” Ashley – who has 27.7 million social media followers – said Tuesday.
“The HGTV stars are so funny and hilarious but also very focused. I was impressed by all their ideas. It’s amazing how much creativity and history there is in every room, front yard and backyard.
“I’m blown away by how amazing this house is!” I love Barbie as much as you do, if not more. Want to fight? Because I think I love her more.’

In one of the costumes, Graham, with her curvy 5’7″ figure, slipped into a pink sequined turtleneck mini dress with ostrich feather sleeves and silver peep toes.
The Nebraska-born, Brooklyn-based beauty wore a luscious ’60s-style hairpiece for her Barbie costumes and had a fully contoured complexion.
Designers Jonathan Adler and Tiffany Brooks are serving as head judges on the project, which began filming back in April.
Joining them each week is a celebrity guest judge, including Project Runway champion Christian Siriano and black actress Marsai Martin
15 talented HGTV home design/renovation experts and an acclaimed Food Network chef will be in attendance, including Jonathan Knight, Christina Hall and Ty Pennington.
A die-hard Barbie fan will win a one-time sleepover in the finished home, complete with light-up dance floor, fish tank desk, hat carousel and pet elevator/phone booth.
The winning design team will receive a donation on their behalf to the nonprofit Save the Children — the very same charity Airbnb is donating to for the $25 million rental of Ken’s Malibu DreamHouse July 21-22 (booking begins on July 17).
