She was recently leaving a store when a meow in the store’s parking lot caught her attention. A small tabby kitten cried out desperately for help. He was completely alone, without his mother to protect and nourish him.

At home, the kitten was given a medicinal bath to combat parasites. Maci Raney also took care of eye and ear care. She decided to call it biscuit.
Biscuit seemed delighted to meet the other members of this large family. Even the animals were not unhappy to meet him.
The next day, Maci Raney returned to the place where she spotted her, hoping to find her mother and the rest of her litter. No result found.
Then she took Biscuit to the vet. This brought him terrible news; The kitten tested positive for feline leukemia virus (FeLV), a life-threatening disease that is highly contagious in cats.
Maci Raney had to separate Biscuit from her peers. She wanted to keep them, but illness made things difficult as she already had three cats.
