Animator and author Josélito Michaud took to social media on Thursday to reaffirm his 23-year love for his wife Véronique Béliveau.
On Josélito Michaud’s Facebook page, a photo of his marriage to singer Véronique Béliveau 23 years ago. We see the author with long hair, dressed in a light blue jacket and white trousers, holding the hand of his sweetheart, who is wearing a long, hazy pink dress.
“It was in the year 2000, in front of our confidants and friends. At the Ste-Famille de Boucherville church while we [n’habitions] not the city yet. On a rainy day, rays of sunshine streamed through the stained glass windows just as we were exchanging vows,” he wrote.
The author remembers his late friend Claude Léveillée’s interpretation of the song The Legend of the White Horse. “An unforgettable moment”.
“In today’s wedding photo ten people have disappeared including my sister, my mother, my father and my friends Diane Cinq Mars, Francine Chaloult and Georges Herbert-Germain. I miss her so much,” he continued.
He adds that this marriage, although it had to be contracted so the couple could adopt abroad, was magical and remains one of the happiest days of their lives.
“We have entered our 30th year together. And I still love them as Celine sang,” he concludes.
