A boy, a girl Is that possible without Alexandra Lamy and Jean Dujardin?
Oh well! Because in the program celebrating the twentieth anniversary of the famous series, there will not necessarily be a man, a girl … but a man, a girl (in the plural). And behind that subtlety, Le Figaro reveals, lies a different concept. Instead of our usual chouchou and loulou, they are embodied by multiple couples.
So, for the duration of one sketch, about fifteen couples will be the heroes of the cult series. JoeyStarr, Barbara Schulz, Mathieu Madénian and Shy’m will be there. To spice up the two prime-time nights when the sketches of “A guy, a girl” (plural) air, TF1 even brought in real-life couples. Inès Reg and her husband Kévin Debonne, Faustine Bollaert and Maxime Chattam as well as Stéphane Bern and his companion Yori Bailleres play the daily game of a couple in front of the camera.
On the other hand, Alexandra Lamy and Jean Dujardin, who met and fell in love on the set of A Man, A Girl, declined the invitation to return the cover.
“We contacted them. Alexandra kindly declined, explaining that her character had long stuck in her mind. But she thought the idea was brilliant and promised to check out this version,” explains Florence Boudaud, producer. Jean Dujardin had his agent answer. He explained that the actor was not up to the adventure.
These two tribute evenings will be an opportunity to see if there is life after the couple created by Alexandra Lamy and Jean Dujardin for Chouchou and Loulou.
