Hundreds of properties in Quebec change hands every day, most of them without us knowing the exact details. That was before we became interested… Here are the latest transactions that caught our attention.

A luxury residence near Rivière des Prairies in the Ahuntsic-Cartierville area just sold for $5.7 million, $1.1 million below the sellers’ asking price.

The latter, a married couple of Inder Bedi and Vandna Tuknat, had put their house up for sale in fall 2021 for $6.8 million. Ultimately, they agreed to let it sell for $5,775,000, a reduction of $1.1 million, or 15%, below the original planned price.

Inder Bedi introduces himself as the founder of Studio BEDI, a fashion company that works from recycled materials and is based on Saint-Laurent Street in Mile End, Montreal. We also owe him the founding of Matt & Nat, which is best known for its handbag collections.

The 741 m² residence has 21 rooms, including five bedrooms, five bathrooms and a powder room, a garage with six parking spaces and an in-ground swimming pool; All on a plot of just over 2084 m2 with river views (but no access).
