Supermodels, acting legends and royalty gathered at the Theater Royal Drury Lane for the Vogue World Show on Thursday.

And as she continued the party into the night, Irina Shayk arrived at the private members’ club George in the heart of Mayfair to celebrate at the event’s official afterparty.

The 37-year-old Sports Illustrated model wore a one-shoulder, ruffled dress that fell to the knee and featured a leg slit.

She slipped on a contrasting pair of thigh-high leather boots to spice up her outfit.

Irina tied her long hair back in a sleek updo and opted for a very subtle makeup look.

Billed as a “multi-act celebration of the British performing arts,” the glittering, one-off extravaganza kicked off London Fashion Week.

The event – dubbed Britain’s answer to the legendary Met Gala – is the brainchild of Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, but viewers watching via the YouTube livestream admitted on social media that they were taken aback by the “bizarre” Show were amazed.

Thursday’s event served as a fundraiser for the UK performing arts industry, with Anna overseeing proceedings.

The first Vogue World event, held in New York’s Meatpacking district in 2021, consisted of a fashion show and street party, but the ceremony in London was a much larger affair.

The dress code applied to opening night. The invitation revealed a West End stage adorned with blood-red velvet curtains.

Led by BAFTA and Olivier winner Stephen Daldry, show director Emily Burns and creative producer Fran Miller, as well as the Vogue team, the evening will feature a wide range of performing arts.

Wintour previously claimed the performing arts industry was “at risk”, meaning all proceeds from ticket sales would go to a number of theater companies – including the National Theatre, the Royal Opera House and the Royal Ballet.

Viewers watching via the YouTube livestream took to social media to admit they were stunned by the “bizarre” show as it began with 49-year-old Kate Moss performing an interpretive dance before Cara Delevingne as a punk appeared in the crowd in disguise.

Supermodel Kate was first shown backstage in a chic outfit before walking through the wings of the theater as the show paid tribute to the theater artists for whom funds were being raised.

Then opera singers appeared in the crowd as Kate was shown on stage via a screen performing a bizarre interpretive dance beneath a black, transparent piece of fabric.

Model Cara, 31, then appeared in the crowd wearing a colorful punk mohawk, a red striped dress and an oversized leather jacket.

She was seen cheering as she strolled between tables of celebrities during FKA Twigs’ performance, before jumping on stage to join the singer.

The pair then kissed before FKA was pulled away by dancers as she continued her performance before Stormzy took the stage for the third musical number.

The Vogue World show then ended with an epic performance from Annie Lennox, who performed the Eurythmics hit “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This).”
