Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Jamie Lee Curtis, Michael Douglas and Billy Porter are among 700 Hollywood personalities who have signed an open letter condemning Hamas and expressing support for Israel.

It was released on Thursday (October 12, 23) by the non-profit organization Creative Community for Peace and brings together names from the world of cinema and music, as well as directors, actors, producers and other personalities from the entertainment industry.
Attacks by Hamas’ military wing that began this weekend have so far left more than a thousand Israelis dead, most of them civilians. In addition, numerous hostages were kidnapped and the letter calls for their release and safe return.
Other known signees include Liev Schreiber, Amy Schumer, Mark Hamill, Jerry Seinfeld, Mayim Bialik, Zachary Levi, Debra Messing, Ziggy Marley, Sharon Osbourne, Andy Garcia, Diane Warren, Lance Bass, Stephen Fry, Ricki Lake, AJ McLean and Bella Mandrel.
“The nightmare that Israelis had feared for decades became a reality as Hamas terrorists infiltrated Israeli towns and villages. Under the cover of thousands of rockets fired indiscriminately at civilians, Hamas murdered and kidnapped innocent men, women and children. They kidnapped and murdered small children and elderly people. They raped women and mutilated their bodies. Flaunting their bodies in the streets and on social media, they cowardly attacked the Supernova music festival, bringing death and destruction to an event that celebrated friendship and love,” the letter said.
And added: “It’s terrorism.” It’s evil. There is no justification or rationalization for Hamas’ actions. We are facing barbaric terrorist attacks that must be denounced by everyone. From a terrorist organization whose leaders call for the murder of Jews around the world. CCFP calls on its friends and colleagues in the entertainment industry to speak out forcefully against Hamas and do everything in their power to urge the terrorist organization to return the innocent hostages to their families.
