The well-known novel “Pedro el escamoso”, which reached more than 100 countries after its premiere in 2001, will receive a sequel more than 20 years after its first broadcast. This was announced by Caracol Televisión in a statement confirming that the new series is in the production process and will be seen in Latin America thanks to an alliance with Disney+.

The series, which will air in 2024, will again star actor Miguel Varoni, who plays Pedro Coral. The new story tells of his return to Colombia after several years, where he was able to meet the woman who made him sigh, Paula Dávila, a role played by the actress Sandra Reyes.
