Between October 25th and November 19th, a group of 50 lucky Brazilian tourists will board a Boeing 757200 in full business class configuration for a trip around the world. The trip is part of a new program by tourism company Latitudes called “Ancient Civilizations and the Routes of the New World.”
The route will be flown with an aircraft rented by the Icelandic airline Islandair and will depart from Campinas, inland from São Paulo, according to the flight schedule already included in the ANACapproved flight base. Eight countries will be visited over 26 days, including Chile, Fiji, Australia, Indonesia, India, Tanzania, Saudi Arabia and Spain.
On October 24, the aircraft will be stationed in Campinas on a flight from the island of Sal, with landing scheduled for 12:50 p.m. local time. The flight portion of the tour with tourists on board begins on October 26th at 9:45 a.m. with departure towards Mendoza (Argentina) for refueling and then towards Easter Island.
In addition to the crew and passengers, there are also experts on board the aircraft such as the historian Luiz Estevam Fernandes, the photographer Adriano Gambarini and the doctor of the trip, Dr. Fabio Lambertini Tozzi. The price per person is US$148,000, which is equivalent to R$751,000.
