Ex Oasis Liam Gallagher is touring to celebrate the 30th anniversary

Ex-Oasis Liam Gallagher is touring to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the album “Definitely Maybe”.

Former Oasis singer Liam Gallagher announced on Monday a tour next year to mark the 30th anniversary of “Definitely Maybe,” the album that launched the legendary Britpop group, and made no comment on a possible reconciliation with his Brother Noel.

On his Instagram account, the musician was happy to celebrate “the most important album of the 1990s” during this series of concerts in the United Kingdom and Ireland. It begins on June 1, 2024 in Sheffield, northern England, and ends in Manchester, the group’s hometown, on June 27, after visits to London and Dublin.

According to the tour description, it will be the first time that Liam Gallagher, 51, will sing the entire album. In addition to hits such as “Rock ‘n’ Roll Star”, “Live Forever”, “Supersonic” and “Cigarettes & Alcohol”, some lesser-known pieces will also be sung on stage for the first time since the 1990s.

After years of disputes, another argument between Liam Gallagher and his brother Noel, the guitarist and composer of Oasis, at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris in the summer of 2009 led to the breakup of the group, which was founded in Manchester in 1991.

Since then, the feuding brothers have long exchanged arguments via social networks or the press before a relative lull recently set in, giving fans hope of a reconciliation.

“You should never say never,” Noel told the BBC last January upon the release of his album High Flying Birds. “It would require extraordinary circumstances,” he warned.

After the overwhelming success of “Definitely Maybe”, Oasis reached the peak of their popularity with “(What’s the Story) Morning Glory?” Released in 1995, which contains his hits such as “Wonderwall” and “Don’t Look Back in Anger”.
