A few days before the last date of the Clausura tournament was played, Sport Boys was penalized with a deduction of 4 points and forced to be relegated to League 1. As is known, La Misilera had secured its stay in the top category last Sunday; However, the punishment from the FPF Licensing Commission hurt them and indirectly benefited Deportivo Municipal and the other clubs. This situation would require changes to the game plan for matchday 19.
According to journalist Marcello Merizalde, Pink and Councilors will play their respective games at the same time. “Sport Boys and Deportivo Municipal will simultaneously contest the final date of the Clausura tournament.
