David and Victoria Beckham’s former bodyguard Craig Ainsworth has described the Spice Girl as the “head of the household”.
The former Marine protected the couple’s family from 2013 to 2015 when they lived in Holland Park in London.
Speaking to The Mirror, the former bodyguard, who protected the likes of Johnny Depp, Jennifer Lawrence and Arnold Schwarzenegger, said her documentary was an “accurate picture of her life”.
He said: “I feel like most women are in charge and we men only feel like we’re in charge half the time.”
“David and Victoria are both highly professional and had so much security that we were like background noise to them, we were part of the furniture.” David was charming.

Opening: He also shared that David’s Netflix documentary titled BECKHAM was an accurate depiction of their lives and shared how they handled fame with “grace.”
“Victoria kept to herself, she was with the children or working, given the spotlight they were under, her children were well behaved.”
“To achieve this level of notoriety and maintain family unity, they must be doing something right.”
To pass as Beckham’s bodyguard, Craig was pepper-sprayed in the eyes, attacked an MMA fighter in the dark during training and had to sign a 50-year non-disclosure agreement.
Craig said the couple remained honest with each other, pointing to the humorous moment when David made fun of Victoria in their documentary for saying she was “working class”.
In the series, Victoria said she came from a working-class family, before David cheekily pointed out that her father used to drive her to school in a Rolls-Royce.
In a section about growing up, Victoria said: “We both come from families that work very hard, we’re working class.”
Hearing the interview from another room, David poked his head around the corner and interjected, “Be honest!”
An excited Victoria replied: “I’m being honest!”
