Joe Burrow greets the Alouettes and his father Jim

The Montreal Alouettes’ qualification for the next Gray Cup final appears to have an impact on the United States: famous quarterback Joe Burrow of the Cincinnati Bengals actually put on his father Jim’s old jersey on Sunday to switch to his NFL Game of the day.

Remember that Jim Burrow wore the colors of the Montreal club from 1977 to 1979 and won the Gray Cup in his first year with the team. He wore number 16, while his son usually wears number 9 with the Bengals.

The Cincinnati team had a meeting with the Houston Texans on Sunday afternoon. As for the Alouettes, they face the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the Gray Cup final in Hamilton next Sunday after defeating the Argonauts in the Eastern final in Toronto on Saturday.
