Ana Hickmann files a complaint against her husband for domestic violence

Moderator Ana Hickmann filed a complaint against her husband Alexandre Correa for domestic violence.

The case was registered as assault and domestic violence at a police station in Itu, inland São Paulo. According to the police report, the attack occurred on Saturday (11), around four o’clock in the afternoon.

Ana Hickmann told police she was in the kitchen at home and was attacked and threatened by her husband, businessman Alexandre Correa, after an argument.

According to the police report, Ana Hickmann said that after the argument, Alexandre Correa pushed her against the wall and threatened to headbutt her.

Ana told police that she was trying to access her cell phone, which was outside the house, and that at that moment her husband suddenly closed the door and injured his arm.

She said she managed to lock her husband out and when she realized he was safe in the kitchen, she called the police.

The presenter stated that the couple’s 10yearold son and employees were in the kitchen at the time of the altercation.

According to the police report, Ana Hickmann sought medical help on her own. She went to Santa Casa de Itu and had to put a sling around her left arm.

Military police then accompanied the presenter to the police station. She was informed of the protection measures provided for in the Maria da Penha law, but decided not to apply for protection measures at this time, according to the notice.

In a statement, Alexandre Correa stated that he did not agree with his wife. He classified the situation as absolutely isolated, which had no major consequences. He apologized to the family and said that they have been married for 25 years without any such incident occurring.

Ana Hickmann’s publicist said the presenter was grateful for the love and solidarity of her fans and shared that she was fine and fortunately there were no major effects on her physical integrity.
