Two other participants are accusing Netflix and the producers of the series “Round 6: The Challenge” of causing physical harm during the taping of the reality show in London in January.

According to Deadline, a British law firm specializing in this area is representing both actors. The couple, who were not identified, said they suffered from hypothermia and nerve damage while filming in the cold.

The injuries are said to have occurred in the first competition of the reality show “Batatinha Frita”. It is inspired by the first dynamic of the South Korean series “Round 6” as well as the entire ninepart reality show with a prize money of US$4.56 million (R22.29 million).

In the game there is a puppet that sings and, when the music stops, aims at the players. Anyone who moves is eliminated.

According to Deadline, filming took place at a former Royal Air Force base in Bedford, England.

“The participants thought they were doing something fun, and those who were injured did not expect to suffer so much. Now they are left with injuries after spending time in painful and stressful positions and in cold temperatures,” said Daniel Slade, CEO of Express Solicitors, which is handling the case.

A Netflix spokesman said the company had not been served with legal notices by any participants and that it “takes the wellbeing of our competitors seriously.”

In February, some participants reported inhumane conditions and alleged manipulation during filming. In the same month, the set underwent a safety inspection following accidents during recording.

The only Brazilian in “Round 6: the Challenge”, musician Yohan Tanaka, repeated the criticism of the admission conditions in an interview with the Metrópoles portal.

Variety told anonymous sources that the shoot exceeded the agreed upon hours, they were not paid, and some even fainted during filming.
