Netflix actor found dead at age 23: He was “tied hand and foot”

Colombian actor Kevin Andrés Muñoz Tovar was found dead last Monday, November 20th. He was 23 years old.

The actor’s body was found “with wounds caused by a knife” in a house in the La Playita sector, Tuluá municipality, Colombia, local newspaper El Tabloide reported.

According to Semana, the singer was also “tied hand and foot” and suffered multiple injuries from “a machete attack (a cutting tool).”

The late actor Kevin Andrés Muñoz was involved in the film.

They arrest a possible person involved in the murder of actor Kevin Andrés Muñoz

A day after the incident with the singer, Major Nicolás Guillermo Suarez Plata, a member of the Tuluá police, reported that they had arrested a person for this incident.

“Thanks to the timely information provided to citizens, an operational operation in the last few hours resulted in the arrest of a 19-year-old man,” he said in a video broadcast by El País Cali.

“(He) had probably been involved in the murder of Kevin Andrés Muñoz Tovar, a well-known actor in a Colombian film, a few minutes earlier,” he explained.

“The captured person was made available to the Attorney General’s Office. The causes and hypotheses of this unfortunate event are still under investigation,” he concluded.

In an interview with Caracol Radio, the officer pointed out to the interpreter that “the people who caused the injuries” were “fleeing the scene.”

What projects has Kevin Andrés Muñoz been involved in?

Kevin Andrés Muñoz was part of the film “Lavaperros”, a production for Netflix directed by Carlos Moreno, in which he played “Yoiner”.

He also appeared in the Apple TV series “Echo 3”, in which he had a supporting role. The plot is about an American scientist who is kidnapped in Colombia.
