Padma Lakshmi was accompanied by her lookalike daughter Krishna at TIME magazine's Person of the Year event in New York on Tuesday.
The former Top Chef host, 53, dazzled in a shimmering silver sequin dress, which she paired with nude strappy heels.
The Indian-born foodie wore her raven tresses parted in the middle and styled into loose waves for the occasion.
Padma opted for soft glamour, with just a touch of blush on her cheeks and nude lipstick on her pout.
13-year-old Krishna, who Padma often calls “Littlhands,” looked stylish in a chic black dress and matching sandals.

This year, the Person of the Year event will celebrate 34-year-old singer Taylor Swift as well as other most influential people from various fields.
The evening will include “cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and stage conversations with select personalities for an end-of-year celebration,” according to TIME.
The 14-time Emmy nominee welcomed Krishna with venture capitalist Adam Dell, 53 – brother of computer tycoon Michael Dell – and she was truly a child prodigy, considering Padma had suffered from endometriosis since she was 13, but not for 23 years was diagnosed.
“I was told I could never get pregnant,” Lakshmi recalled to The Guardian in March.
“I had a fallopian tube removed. On the other hand, half of my ovary was removed. So I really don't know how this happened. I am very grateful for that.'
Over Thanksgiving, Padma opened up about how she and Adam co-parented Krishna over the holiday in an Instagram post that included snaps of her and her daughter over the years.
“Usually #LittleHands and I host a big Thanksgiving dinner. Turkey fills the whole nine meters with all our loved ones. Some years when she was with her father, I just go to Paris and have fun. No turkey, no relatives.'
“This year, luckily, it will just be the two of us (although we will miss our family) and do nothing.” I'm making a roast chicken and roasted vegetables so we can use the leftovers to make our beloved potpie. We are both exhausted and when I asked Krishna what she wanted to do this year, she said, “Can it just be us? Can’t we have a big dinner and just relax and rest, Mom?”

Padma previously shared that it was “shameful” to see such intense public speculation about the identity of her daughter's father when she announced she was pregnant in 2009.
Her pregnancy announcement came as a surprise to fans who didn't know she was dating anyone at the time, two years after she spat with her ex-husband Salman Rushdie.
On a 2021 episode of People's podcast “Me Becoming Mom,” Padma admitted that it was “gross” to see stories about the father's identity in newspapers around the world.
“It was definitely disgusting when the press started snooping around in different countries – not just America, but India, England and Australia. “Back then it was all over the papers and it was shameful,” she said.
“But then again, it was inconsequential because the main event was that I was going to be a mother,” she added. “I was just happy.” The stuff was definitely there. It was in the background, it was always like a white noise presence.”
“I was kind of in between relationships without getting into the details,” she said. “It definitely complicated the situation, and as we know our society is a patriarchal society, so I knew it obviously wasn't the ideal way to be in the situation I was in.”
These two relationships were with Adam and billionaire Teddy Forstmann.

Padma and Dell had an on-again, off-again romance before breaking up in 2021; They can be seen in 2017
In her memoir, Love, Loss and What We Ate, Padma said she realized she wasn't sure who the baby's father was.
“One question started to make me dizzy: not so much 'How?' but the far more uncomfortable 'Who?'
“I didn’t know about paternity myself until September,” she said.
Padma and Dell had an on-again, off-again romance for years, although they split in 2021, according to Page Six.
Last month she was pictured holding hands with black artist Kenya Barris, 49, in New York.
Padma was married to the writer Salman Rushdie from 2004 to 2007.
