Gordon was bitten on his face and hands, resulting in cuts. The incident occurred Monday night after the Nuggets' 120-114 victory over the Golden State Warriors.
So far this season, Gordon is averaging 13.6 points, 6.9 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game.
The 28-year-old joined the Denver club in 2020-2021 after playing the first few seasons of his career with the Orlando Magic. He was one of the players in the first championship in Nuggets history last season.
