Taylor Swift sends audiences into “excited panic” as she performs a mashup of her hit breakup ballads “Exile” and “Haunted” in Sydney

Taylor Swift shook things up a bit during the Australian leg of her record-breaking Eras Tour.

Just like with Friday and Saturday's shows, the 34-year-old Anti-Hero singer performed a mix of several different tracks for her “Surprise Songs” portion of the show.

At her last show, the first mashup was her beloved 1989 Vault track “Is It Over Now” (Taylor's Version) and “I Wish You Would”, also from 1989, which she played on her acoustic guitar.

During the second mash-up, she played Haunted, first released on her third album Speak Now, and Exile, from her Folklore album.

A fan shared a video of the mash-ups on TikTok and Swifties went wild in the comments.

“These mash ups are the first thing to make me emotional today,” one fan wrote, adding the crying emoji.

Another Swiftie admitted: “I didn't start crying when she started playing Exile.”

“People really didn't know how to react to the exile.” “Panic in excitement,” a third fan said, adding the crying emoji and a red heart.

A fourth fan had a really good idea and wrote: “She needs to make an album with these mashups. That would be stunning.”

Taylor has been on tour since March 2023 and changes two songs in her acoustic set every night.

But down under, she decided to do things differently and explained to the audience that it didn't feel right anymore.

“This was supposed to challenge me to really achieve all the things that I'm not naturally drawn to, and I'm really proud that I did that,” US Weekly reported.

“I want to be as creative as possible with the acoustic set in the future and I don't want to limit anything or say, 'Oh, if I played this song, I can't play it again,'” the Grammy winner said during one their Melbourne shows.

“So from now on I don’t want to take any more colors from the paint box [or] Tools from the toolbox.

“I want to be able to play songs more than once if I feel like it, and I want to be able to make changes to songs.” “Does that sound okay?” she said to the crowd.

While her boyfriend Travis Kelce, 34, attended Friday's show in Australia, he then flew back to Las Vegas to celebrate his Super Bowl victory with his teammates, TMZ reported.

Fans who haven't been able to attend one of Taylor's concerts will soon be able to watch the Eras concert film as many times as they want when it arrives on Disney+.

The film “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” will be released on the streaming platform on March 15th.

This version contains even more bonus material than the previous rental version.
