The concept of pride is taken from Greek philosophy. Aristotle and Plato often mentioned this in their writings. In tragedies, the pride syndrome allows the hero to talk about his great epics, rising to the rank of gods.
Often the latter is stopped by the goddess of revenge, Nemesis. Thus, Greek arrogance refers to the excess caused by power and its disastrous consequences. This legend eventually gave the name to the personality disorder, which will eventually be studied by specialists around the world.

This syndrome can also be observed on a different scale. In business, for example, it is not uncommon to observe a change in the behavior of an employee who has received a promotion or a new position as a manager or team leader.
The fact of humiliation of their employees, the lack of trust within the team and the lack of questioning are signs of a behavioral transformation going towards this personality disorder.
No specific drug
There is no medical treatment for this syndrome. According to experts, the best solution for relieving someone’s symptoms is to oppose it and feel free to question their credibility.
Ultimately, this sense of “omnipotence” must be shaken. Another solution, if possible: fire her from power. But as far as Vladimir Putin is concerned, this is much easier said than done.
