Reacher topped the U.S. Nielsen rankings for streaming original series for the week of February 7, and thus became the first Prime Video series to reach number one.
The first season of Prime Video’s already revamped adaptation of Lee Child’s Jack Reacher novels racked up 1.6 billion minutes watched in just eight episodes, beating Netflix’s Sweet Magnolias (1.56 billion/20 episodes) to number one.
They were followed by Netflix’s The Ozark (1.2 billion minutes watched/37 episodes), Netflix’s chart-debuting Inventing Anna (1.2 billion minutes/9 episodes) and the full seven-episode season of The Boba Fett Book by Disney+ (885 million minutes). .
Notably, Nielsen reports that Reacher’s audience is predominantly male (58 percent), while Anna’s Invention audience is 70 percent female.

Rounding out the top 10 Nielsen streaming originals for the week of Feb. 7 are five Netflix series: Raising Dion, Love Is Blind, We’re All Dead, Disappointment, and The Woman in the House.
Meanwhile, Netflix’s Out of the Cold and Murderville, as well as Hulu’s Pam & Tommy, dropped out of the Top 10 this week.
