As in pre-pandemic times, the day was marked by a series of celebrations, the events of which were revealed in a post on the official website of the court.

Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden came out today with her family to take part in the traditional celebrations in honor of her name day.
Both the crown princess and her husband were seen leaning in to chat with six-year-old Prince Oscar, who was at times nervous during the appearance.

Husband Prince Daniel completed her look with his elegant outfit, consisting of a gray coat and a scarf over a dark suit. The children were also the same in their gray clothes.
The appearance follows rumors, which the couple have publicly and vigorously denied, that they are facing family struggles.
Late last month, Crown Princess Victoria and her husband Prince Daniel, whom she met in the mid-2000s at a fitness center he ran before joining the royal family, strongly denied “unfounded” divorce rumors in an Instagram post. .
The day’s events – the first full celebration since 2019 – included a march and music performed by the country’s military.
After the military parade and music, senior military officials presented Crown Princess Victoria with a bouquet of flowers.
While six-year-old Prince Oscar was at times nervous during the event, his sister, Princess Estelle (pictured left), who recently turned 10, was seen beaming and waving to the crowd.
Over the weekend, the royal couple took to the social media platform to “protect their family” and “once and for all” make it clear that the rumors weren’t true.
They shared the image and wrote, “We have come to know that there are many negative rumors spreading about our personal relationship.
“Rumors are spreading about betrayal in a relationship and an impending divorce.
“In normal cases, we do not comment on rumors and speculation. But to protect our family, we want to make it clear once and for all that the rumors that are now being spread are completely unfounded.”
A few weeks ago, the director of public relations for the Swedish royal house, Margareta Thorgren, already denied the rumors in a statement.
Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden and her husband Prince Daniel last month denied divorce rumors on social media.
Posting a retraction on Instagram was a rare move for the couple (pictured at a ceremony honoring the 2021 Nobel Prize winners at Stockholm City Hall).
The royal couple, pictured on their wedding day on June 19, 2010, said:
Speaking to the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet on February 19, she said the palace does not usually comment on such matters, but the rumors were “tenacious enough” to influence the royal family.
“This is an exceptional case and we have not come across this before,” Torgren said.
Swedish royal journalist Jenny Alexandersson wrote for Aftonbladet: “Trust me, we have done a solid journalistic job. If there was a divorce, we would report it.”
Another publication, Expressen, stated that they were told that the couple would file for divorce in the Solna District Court, however, they said that this information turned out to be incorrect.
Margareta Thorgren stated that the rumors originated from a “frivolous” publication believed to be the tabloid magazine Stoppa Pressarna (“Stop the Press” in English) and that the mainstream Swedish media checked the facts after they were widely circulated online .
