A Brooklyn man accused of stalking Taylor Swift in her Manhattan homes erupted in anger at a court hearing Saturday.
Joshua Christian, 35, demanded that he fire his court-appointed defense attorney and instead represent himself during Saturday’s testy arraignment hearing.
At one point, he turned to the courtroom and snapped, “Are you all the biggest pranksters in history or are they real? Prove you’re real. Prove you’re real.’
The Crown Heights man is accused of sneaking through the unlocked door of one of Swift’s TriBeCa homes in March and hurling threats over the intercom of their neighboring property in June.
He also reportedly showed up at Swift’s home in Tennessee at an unknown time.
The New York Post reported that Christian was arrested on Friday.
He has been charged with stalking and criminal trespassing for stalking 32-year-old Swift’s New York home on Friday.
Christian was arrested in Florida for “reckless driving” and did not waive his extradition there to answer the warrant.

A prosecutor said Christian was previously arrested in Florida for reckless driving, the Post reported.
The outburst came after Judge Abraham Clott asked him if he wanted to waive extradition.
Christian, who wore a head-to-toe white ensemble with a matching mask, had a meeting with his attorney and asked the judge to delay the case until the night court began, the news outlet said.
After his unruly behavior, he was led out by court officials.
Christian’s stalking tour has taken place twice in recent months, at Swift’s Tribeca residence on Franklin Street, where she reportedly owns several units.
The obsessive fan reportedly stood outside Swift’s townhouse waiting for the singer to show up.
The dates of the stalking incidents reportedly occurred between around 11:05 am on March 26 and again around 10:50 am on June 12.
Christian’s stalking spree began months ago when he showed up on two separate occasions at apartment buildings on Franklin Street, where the singer reportedly owns multiple units.
During the March incident, the obsessed fan gained entry through an unlocked door at 153 Franklin Street, where Swift owns an $18 million townhouse, the New York Post reported.
Police said he stayed there “unlawfully” and fled after being confronted by security forces, the news agency reported.
The second incident happened just last month, when Christian reportedly broke into the building at 155 Franklin Street and “spoke threats over the intercom against a 32-year-old woman,” police said, The Post reported.
This isn’t the first time Swift has been the target of stalkers.
In 2018, a man broke into her Tribeca townhouse and took a nap, police said.
That same year, a Colorado man armed with a knife, rope and ammunition was arrested outside a Beverly Hills home owned by Swift, CBS News reported.
