Tonight is the 94th Annual Academy Awards, also known as the Oscars, celebrating the best films of the past year. The awards ceremony will feature big stars as hosts, guest presenters and music shows.
So, where is the Oscars held, what channel will it be broadcast on, when will the awards ceremony begin?

OSCARS 2022 DATE AND TIME: The 94th Academy Awards will air this Sunday, March 27, 2022 at 8:00 p.m. ET and 5:00 p.m. PT.
WHERE THE 2022 OSCARS WILL BE TRANSMITTED: The 94th Academy Awards will be broadcast live on ABC and its networks. The awards show will also be available “in more than 200 territories worldwide,” according to a press release.
WHEN DO THE OSCARS 2022 RED CARPET BEGIN: The Oscars Red Carpet Show precedes the 94th Academy Awards and airs at 6:30 p.m. ET and 3:30 p.m. PT on ABC. The Oscars announced that the 90-minute special will be hosted by Vanessa Hudgens, Terrence J and Brandon Maxwell and will “feature a guest appearance from DJ MOS.”
AND! It will also cover the Oscars ahead of the ceremony. “E!’s Brunch at the Oscars” will air at 2:00 p.m. ET, followed by “E! Live from the Red Carpet at 5:00 p.m. ET and Red Carpet Rundown at 7:00 p.m. ET. AND! will be honoring the awards with his “E! After Party” at 11:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

HOST OF THE OSCARS 2022: After years without an official host, the trio of Amy Schumer, Regina Hall and Wanda Sykes takes over at the 94th Academy Awards.
“This year’s show is about bringing movie lovers together. It’s about time we brought together three of the most dynamic and hilarious women with vastly different comedic styles,” producer Will Packer said in a press release. “I know that the fun that Regina, Amy and Wanda will have will carry over to our audience as well. Lots of surprises in store! Expect the unexpected!”

OSCARS 2022 MUSICAL SHOWS: The 94th Academy Awards will feature performances by four of the five nominees for Best Original Song. These include Beyoncé performing “Be Alive” from “King Richard”; Sebastián Yatra plays “Dos Oruguitas” from “Encanto”; Billie Eilish and FINNEAS with “No Time To Die” from “No Time to Die” and Reba McEntire with “Somehow You Do” from “Four Good Days”.
The ceremony will also include the first live performance of “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” from Encanto. The show will star Adassa, Stephanie Beatriz, Mauro Castillo, Carolina Gaitán and Diane Guerrero, as well as Becky G and Luis Fonsi.
The Oscars also announced special performances by an all-star band, “featuring the show’s music director Adam Blackstone, Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker, percussionist/singer Sheila E. and pianist Robert Glasper,” DJ D- Nice and The Samples.” A vocal group led by Jason White.”
