Grammy night is looming as one where the urban genre would be the favorite and the prophecy is already being fulfilled.
World famous artist Bad Bunny stormed onto the stage this afternoon with the golden gramophone Best Urban Genre Album for the album “El Último Tour del Mundo” as announced on the official website of the awards.
This would be the second Grammy for the performer-composer. Last year he won the award for best pop or urban album for “YHLQMDLG”.
The Best Album category was one of the toughest this year. Bad Bunny outscored Puerto Rican Rauw Alejandro, Colombians J Balvin, Karol G and American Kali Uchis.
The Bad Rabbit presented his concert in the city of Miami last night, so it’s suspected he won’t be at the ceremony tonight.
In the category “Best Tropical Album” won another with a large presence of Puerto Rican talent, the Panamanians Rubén Blades and Robertop Delgado and his orchestra with the project “Salswing!”. The nominees Gilberto Santa Rosa, El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico, Tony Succar and Aymée Nuviola were left out.
