Caitlyn Jenner has accused the left of hijacking and politicizing the trans community after a high school banned some female athletes from its own locker room for objecting to a transgender student using them.
Members of a Vermont girls’ volleyball team were banned from using their own locker room and are now forced to change in a single toilet stall after complaining about a transgender teammate.
Some teammates allege that the transgender Randolph Union High School player made an “inappropriate remark” to some of them while they were changing in the locker room.
Jenner blasted the decision in a barnstorming interview, blasting another issue where common sense has not prevailed because radical elements on the left have hijacked it.
“The left has hijacked and politicized another minority group in our beautiful country, and this time it’s trans people,” Jenner stormed on Fox News.
“They are really tearing this country apart as a result of their radical left and their identity politics agenda. I thought Joe Biden was supposed to be the great unifier.

Randolph Union High School has banned members of its high school volleyball team from using their own locker room, meaning they are now forced to change in a single toilet stall after complaining about a transgender teammate
Jenner went on to defend the trans student’s right to use the female locker room under Vermont law, but also defended girls’ right to feel uncomfortable sharing it with “essentially a biological boy with a penis.”
“Do these girls have the right to speak up and tell the school board how uncomfortable they are in the locker room with basically a biological boy with a penis? They definitely do.
“What is the solution of the school? Let’s ban the ten girls who complained.
“Put her in the corner in her own little part of the dressing room and don’t do anything when it comes to this trans person.”
“Right now everything is out of control and these things need to stop.”
Vermont state law means students can play sports and use lockers that match the gender they identify with.
Blake Allen, a player on the team, told WCAX how uncomfortable she is, saying, “It’s a huge thing. . . Everyone’s like, ‘Why can’t you go into the locker room?’

Headmistress Layne Millington, pictured, is yet to comment on the controversy
Shortly after the incident, the school emailed the players’ families, telling them that the school “has plenty of space for students who are uncomfortable with the laws to change their privacy.”
Superintendent Layne Millington, who oversees the Orange County School District, has yet to comment on the controversy.
With about 10 players on the team, Allen said there was no point in having each of them change in the only toilet stall.
“They want all the girls who are uncomfortable to change in a single stall bathroom, which would take over 30 minutes,” she said. “If one person changed clothes separately, it would take a minute, like no extra time.”
Allen said the problem isn’t that the transgender athlete is playing on a team, but that he’s in a locker room where coeds are most vulnerable.
“There are biological boys who go into the girls’ bathroom but never into the dressing room,” Allen said.
Randolph High School co-president Lisa Floyd said that violations of the policy will result in disciplinary action consistent with school rules, adding that student safety is the “district’s” top priority.
According to guidelines from the Vermont Agency of Education, “transgender students’ use of restrooms and locker rooms requires that the school consider numerous facts,” the agency said.
The agency states in its policy that “a transgender student should not be required to use a locker room or restroom that is inconsistent with the student’s gender identity.”
The school’s investigation is ongoing.

Transgender athletes and students have become a hot topic in recent years — especially when they’ve transitioned from male to female.
Jenner, who went from man to woman seven years ago, has spoken out frequently on trans issues, risking the wrath of the militant trans community.
She has spoken out on the issue of trans women who have not yet biologically transitioned into women’s swimming, particularly in the case of Lia Thomas, a trans woman who wants to compete in women’s swimming at the 2024 Olympics.
Thomas sparked an outcry about injustice after she broke multiple college swimming records, leading to a crackdown on transgender women who competed in swimming.
Earlier this year, the World Swimming Federation, FINA, banned trans athletes from competing in elite women’s races if they’ve gone through any part of the male puberty process.
It added it would aim to establish an “open” category to allow swimmers whose gender identity differs from their birth sex to compete.
Jenner believes FINA had concluded that it wasn’t just about current hormone levels, and she shared her experience of how male puberty had brought her benefits.
Jenner believes that despite identifying as female, whether a trans woman has gone through male puberty or is still biologically male is important, both in competitive sports and in how women can feel.
Jenner has previously said that she doesn’t mind being called transphobic for her views on the subject because she feels like she’s on the “right side.”
Thomas, who went from male to female while in college, was criticized for competing against women in races
In comments she made earlier this year, she said: “I went through male puberty. I was strong, 6ft2. I’m 72 years old and I can still hit the ball 290 yards because my arms and legs are long.
“I can still do things like that. I switched completely 7 years ago, but there’s still a lot left over there!’
Critics of male-to-female transgender athletes say they have an unfair advantage over women after male puberty, even if they undergo subsequent hormone treatment during their transition.
They also warn of potential safety concerns that arise when someone with male genitalia is in a female fitting room.
Transgender rights advocates say trans students are vulnerable and should be allowed full participation in school or college life as the gender they identify with.
Jenner has been criticized by some trans activists for her stance on the matter, but said she doesn’t care about being labeled transphobic.
She said: “I took so much flack. To be honest, I have a thick skin. They can come after me, I really don’t care. I can take any criticism. I feel like I’m on the right page.’
On the other hand, Jenner — who has an impressive 6 handicap — has no qualms about competing in women’s golf events and is excited to take advantage of the benefits female golfers have by departing closer to the flag than men’s golf .
Taking to Twitter, journalist Katelyn Burns called out the blatant hypocrisy, saying, “Something tells me she doesn’t really believe what she’s saying to try and get Republicans to vote for her.”
