NFL Trade Deadline Tracker 2022: Live updates on the latest moves, trade rumors and buzz in the league

Deal or no deal? That’s what all 32 NFL teams asked themselves on Tuesday afternoon. Clubs had until 4 p.m. ET on Tuesday to make any trades they deemed worthy of either putting them ahead of a potential Super Bowl run this season or — on the other side of the coin — extraditing expendable players to get assets for them in the coming seasons.

Now that the deadline has passed, a total of 10 Tuesday trades have gone under (you can see our grades for them here). Among them: Former No. 8 overall pick TJ Hockenson was sent to the Vikings by the Lions, the Dolphins went all-in to snag Broncos Pro-Bowl pass rusher Bradley Chubb, and the Steelers shared wide receiver Chase Claypool to the Bears while adding second aid to William Jackson. Even a player suspended for the remainder of the season – Calvin Ridley – was treated to a move from the Falcons to the Jaguars.

Even before Tuesday’s deadline, we saw massive blockbusters across the league, including Christian McCaffrey, who ended up with the San Francisco 49ers. That deal has already started to pay off for the Niners after McCaffrey rushed, caught and passed for a touchdown in Sunday’s win against the Rams.

It’s that kind of impact that teams will hope to bring to their rosters to give them a boost on the track.
