During the coverage of the demonstrations in the afternoon of this Tuesday 1st, the journalist Jotaan Silva from the newspaper O Município Blumenau was harassed and insulted by one of the demonstrators. The man has not yet been identified.
At the moment when the reporter wanted to live broadcast the performance of the military police at the blockade of Rua Doutor Pedro Zimmermann near the Zandoná post, the man approached him and called him “shameless” and “bought”. He also claims the journalist is a “liar” and a “coward”.
Jotaan’s participation was ended so that he could safely return to the editorial board.
