Weather: next few days, from the Novembrata di San Martino to a radical change; the forecasts in detail
Next November the summer of San Martino will continueIn the next days, after the historic Novembrata di San Martino, there will be a radical change.
Italy is currently again under the effects of a high pressure area, which is bringing sunshine and increasing heat, especially in the south and on the two large islands. But also in the center the weather remains stable overall and the temperatures have already made some progress. Only in the north does a wetter current from the North Atlantic keep the sky dirtier than clouds.
In the northern regions, on the other hand, the minimum temperatures are increasing.
In the next 24/48 hours the Novembrata will become more and more evident in the southern regions and on the main islands, while the center–north is temporarily disturbed by the passage of a rapid disturbance that will bring some Rain in between Wednesday 9th and Thursday 10thfirst in the north, then in the center.
The attached map shows the distribution and amounts of rain forecasts for the day of Thursday, November 10th. Bad weather moves toward the northeast and toward the center. Friuli-Venezia Giulia, central-eastern Emilia, Romagna and later Tuscany, Umbria and some corners of the Marche are particularly affected. In these areas you can see the dark blue color that indicates cumulative rain near 30/40mm.The distribution and amount of rain expected for Thursday, November 10
From Friday 11instead of this, nice weather again in the north it is at further rising temperatures throughout the country: the novembrata continues in conjunction with the typical Indian summerthis is the name used to denote a phase of autumn in which climatic conditions of good weather and mild temperatures occur for the calendar. San Martino is celebrated on November 11th.
When does this umpteenth exception time end? Apart from surprises, on weekends when the weather has to suffer radical change because of a cold and threatening cyclonic vortex from the neighboring countries of the Balkans, which could likely push the anticyclone into crisis and bring back autumnal scenarios.
