New method! Climate activists are now “bathing” in glue world

They put their hands in the streets, spread art in museums and cause a stir. But now weather stickers go one step further.

With their controversial actions, the members of the “Last Generation” are causing a stir around the world – and in the headlines too! Activists glue their hands to the street, paralyzing traffic or throwing various liquids or even food on works of art in museums and galleries.

Authorities in Germany were no longer willing to watch and took action against climate stickers. As “Heute” reported, there were several nationwide attacks against members of the “Last Generation” earlier in the week.

“We bathe in cola”

But the activists don’t seem to be put off by this – on the contrary! Klima-Kleber launches a counter-attack and with a new campaign is once again the subject of conversation. Because this time the activists don’t just glue their hands to the street, but completely cover themselves with paste.

On Wednesday, for example, two “Last Generation” activists threw glue at each other on Von-der-Tann-Strasse in Munich and then sat down in the street. FYI: there is actually a ban on demonstrations in the German city – but the activists don’t seem to care.

“Don’t let bans stop us”

According to a note, the climate sticker wanted to show “the absurdity of the preventive general decree against adhesive mounts” with the action. And: “The ‘last generation’ people are not intimidated by bans and prison sentences.”

“The sticking ban doesn’t change anything. We will continue to stick on the streets of Munich as many times and with as much glue as necessary. The banning of a democratic form of protest simply shows the government’s inability to adequately react to the impending climate hell and our simple , to comply with vital security measures,” said Jakob Beyer, spokesman for “Last Generation”.

Either way, resistance will continue. “You can’t ban people who want to protect the constitution,” Beyer explains on the activists’ website. According to “Abendzeitung München”, the weather stickers also sent a battle slogan: because the next campaign has already been announced for next Tuesday.
