Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss’ mother broke her silence after his tragic suicide and said in a heartbreaking Instagram post that she loves her son “to eternity and beyond”.

Boss, a longtime executive producer on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, committed suicide in a Los Angeles motel Monday.

Connie Boss Alexander, his mother, wrote an Instagram story on Friday to finally speak out about her son’s death, in which she thanked loved ones for reaching out and reaffirming their love for their son.

Alexander last posted about her famous son on September 29, wishing him a happy birthday on his 40th birthday.

She wrote at the time, “Despite the professional accomplishments, what impresses me more is the man you have become… from a son and brother to a husband and father… I couldn’t have imagined a better journey.”

On Friday, Alexander struck a somber note, writing: “Family and friends, thank you for all the love, prayers and encouragement. Please note that I see all messages, texts, posts and phone calls. I can’t use any words right now. Please know I will get in touch when I can. Stephen Laurel, your mother loves you to eternity and beyond.’

Her words echoed a bit those of her son when he last posted about his mother on October 13 when he wished her a happy birthday on Instagram.

He wrote: “Mom thank you for life and thank you for love. I love you to the moon and back and back again.’

Boss’s nine-year-old wife, Allison Holker, contacted the Los Angeles Police Department on Tuesday to report him missing.

Holker insisted there had been no fight or argument that hastened his departure, just three days into their wedding anniversary, and said his lack of contact was extremely uncharacteristic.

Police escorted Holker back to the family home to briefly search for clues to his disappearance — but shortly thereafter, an 911 call came in from a nearby motel, where a housekeeper had discovered Boss dead of a gunshot wound.

An LAPD spokesman declined to comment on the matter when reached by on Thursday.

Boss, 40, and Holker, 34, shared three children: Zaia, 3, Maddox Laurel, 6, and Weslie Renae, 14, who was born to Alison’s previous relationship but was adopted by Stephen.

On Wednesday, she paid tribute to him in a heartfelt statement — she would “save the last dance for him” — before welcoming tearful family members to her home in Encino.

previously revealed that Boss checked into room 249 at the Oak Tree Inn in Encino around 10.30am Monday and was found dead in the room’s bathroom the next day when he failed to check out.

“He went to his room and never came out,” manager Rakesh said.

“At 11:15 on Tuesday the maid opened the door to check on the room. His things were in there, but nobody was there. She checked the bathroom and there was blood everywhere.

“She was very scared. This is the first time something like this has happened here.

“We called 911, they told us to check his pulse but there was nothing. The paramedics and the police came and said he was dead.”

Rakesh, who asked to be identified by his first name only, said neither guests nor staff heard the shot.

“Maybe he did it during the day on Monday. It’s a busy, noisy street out here, so it’s possible that nobody heard it,’ he said.

Boss had called around 9:20 a.m. Monday to check if rooms were available and then walked the few blocks from his home. Rakesh said he appeared “completely normal” and “calm”.

When we knocked on the door, there was no answer,” Rakesh said. ‘The maid opened the door and there were still his things in the room.’

Another employee confirmed that Boss shot himself in the head, and the manager added that he did it in the bathroom.

They said he used his own name to check into the motel on Monday and wasn’t discovered until Tuesday morning.

He worked on Ellen’s show from 2014 until it ended in 2022 and was named executive producer in 2020.

DeGeneres has paid tribute to him as her “family” and “pure love and light” — adding that she was heartbroken.

The star said: “I will miss him. Please send your love and support to Allison and his beautiful children – Weslie, Maddox and Zaia.”

Sharing a post on her Instagram page, Lopez wrote, “Twitch was such a light and a beautiful soul. Shocked and deeply saddened.

“My heart breaks for @sir_twitch_alot, his wife and children. I send you love and strength.’
