Listeria bacteria: memory of “Gorgonzola Dolce”

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is recalling the Igor brand “Gorgonzola Dolce” from the market due to possible Listeria contamination.

Recalled products should not be consumed, used, sold, served or distributed, the CFIA said in a statement.
Food contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes does not necessarily spoil visibly or smell suspiciously, but it can still make you sick.
The recalled product was sold in British Columbia, Ontario and Quebec and may have been distributed in other provinces and territories.
No diseases have been reported related to the consumption of this product.
The affected product is Igor branded ‘Gorgonzola Dolce’ sold by Jan K. Overweel Limited. The recall affects products with lot numbers 2774015 and 2775033.
