Through a statement released on the singer’s social media, more details about what had happened were revealed. “She has been treated and discharged for oral care, is recovering and is on her way to Tucumã (PA) to continue her concert schedule in the state,” read a note posted to Instagram.

In the statement, the singer team also thanked the fans who were present at the show for their understanding. Luiza Martins also spoke up on the social network and explained that she had had “severe abdominal pain” for a few days and had even undergone a Covid 19 test. In addition, she said that she did not imagine that this would happen.

“These were symptoms that came and went (…) During the day I took medication, ate light foods, drank as much water as possible, but food poisoning is very scary. I didn’t know it was that bad. The Parauapebas people saw that I tried to stay with them to the end. I warned that I was not well and that at some point I had to stop,” he said.
