Demi Moore and her ex-husband Bruce Willis will become grandparents. This was announced by the eldest daughter of former actors Rumer Willis, 34, in an Instagram post with a carousel of pictures showing her advanced pregnancy. “It’s exciting news to have a baby. Congratulations to Rumer and Derek. We’re ecstatic here!” wrote Emma Heming, Willis’ partner, referring to her husband and their daughters Evelyn, aged eight, and Mabel, 10.
Moore shared her daughter’s post on her own Instagram, where she has more than three million followers. “Entering my crazy and deranged grandmother era,” wrote the 60-year-old actress and businesswoman. The publication generated thousands of “likes” and congratulations from colleagues such as Luci Liu, with whom she shared the shooting of Charlie’s Angels (2003), Michelle Pfeiffer or Gwyneth Paltrow.
Demi Moore starred in one of the most iconic photos of the ’90s. Annie Leibovitz portrayed her naked and heavily pregnant (with her second daughter) for the cover of Vanity Fair in an image that would forever change the collective perception of pregnancy and motherhood. Today, more than three decades later, the actress is a spectator and not the protagonist of a less iconic pregnancy photo, less studied but one that probably has the same meaning for her.
