Some are very concerned about the slowness of Air Canada’s customer service when trying to contact an agent to reschedule a flight or get a refund.

An American tourist at Montreal-Trudeau airport, met by TVA Nouvelles, did not praise Air Canada’s staff management.

“We’re from the United States. What I’ve just experienced is Third World! Third World! I’ll never fly Air Canada again, it’s over!” he exclaimed.

In the face of the chaos that has been going on for several hours, passengers are growing impatient and do not hesitate to voice their point of view on customer service.

“It’s a huge frustration, we’re very disappointed with customer service. We’re really left to our own devices,” lamented one traveller.

“I did the line for 3h30. I got here around 5am and instead of seeing customer service reps, I was shocked to only see phones and speaking to someone who doesn’t exist,” said another airline customer.

Aéroports de Montréal officials are reminding travelers to check flight departure and arrival times before arriving at Montréal-Trudeau.
