Animal lover Michelle Keegan was thrilled to learn that an adorable pooch named Brandy was safely returned to her owners on Christmas Day after being missing for 18 months.
The actress and wife of TOWIE star Mark Wright, 35, tweeted her joy this week after earlier asking fans for their help to relocate the pooch that was stolen from their family’s Essex garden.
Michelle wrote in part of her tweet: “Amazing news! She is home now and safe where she should be.’

“Sending love to Brandy and your family… Merry Christmas,” she added.
Missing Pets GB thanked Michelle for helping to raise awareness of Brandy’s disappearance.
‘Thank you for your help!!! Brandy was picked up by her family at 2am this morning. 18 months ago she was stolen from her garden, today she is safe at home,” the tweet said.

In April last year, Michelle asked fans to keep an eye out for the missing dog after she was stolen “in broad daylight”.
The Brassic actress re-shared the ‘missing dog’ post on her Instagram Stories after the owner revealed the cocker spaniel was snatched from her yard.
Asking anyone with information to come forward, Michelle reposted photos of the lost pet, slamming the “disgusting” thieves who snatched the pup.
Raising awareness: In April last year, Michelle asked fans to keep an eye out for the missing dog after she was stolen “in broad daylight”.
“This beautiful dog was stolen from her owner’s yard in broad daylight… it’s just disgusting,” Michelle said at the time.
The thieves’ car details were shared, and the victim stated that the police were helping with the case.
They also thanked everyone who has helped so far, writing, “I just want to say a big thank you to everyone who has commented, liked and shared my story.”
Michelle has two pooches, a chihuahua and a dachshund, with husband Mark Wright.
