‘You threw me under one!’ Phil claimed, to which Holly insisted, ‘Not quite.’

“Not far away,” Phil argued, while Holly recalled the incident and said, “Where were we? We were at Ascot and then this horse reared up. It was instinctive to duck behind you – I didn’t throw you!’

“You grabbed me and pushed me to the horse,” Phil insisted, to which Holly claimed, “I didn’t push you!”

Phil didn’t budge from his stance and said, “You pushed me under the horse’s hooves,” to which Holly finally had to apologize and admit, “Well, I’m sorry.”

Grinning, Phil admitted, “I may have exaggerated a bit.”

The taped series aired on Wednesday, days after Holly stifled her laughter when Santa made a very X-rated joke during the Christmas Day episode of This Morning.

Holly spoke to Santa in the studio for the holiday special and mentioned that he needs a well-deserved day off on the 25th.

“Obviously it’s a holiday for all of you, I presume?” Holly asked Santa, who was speaking live to the hosts from his grotto at the North Pole.

“Well no, we have a big task today,” Santa Claus told the host. “Mrs. Claus is making a Christmas dinner for everyone, for everyone – all the elves, the red carpet.

“I look forward to the pigs in blankets and Mrs. Claus loves a good stuffing.”

This resulted in Holly stopping herself from laughing while Phil gave the camera a funny look to show they got the sexual innuendo.
