By dawn Sunday, there was nothing left in the town of Chaudeyrolles, and a few inches of “soup” still lay in the streets of Estables.

On the Croix de Peccata and the Croix de Boutières, however, there was 7 to 8 cm of very heavy snow (about 10 cm on Saturday at nightfall).
A late autumn, not uncommon at this altitude, still called “snow of the cuckoo”, that last snow of spring.

And that three weeks after the snow episode, which may have surprised by its intensity, on the weekend of April 2nd and 3rd.
