A passenger attacks the passengers and crew, the plane lands if necessary
Such is the case with low-cost airline Wizz Air’s flight on Friday November 4 between London Gatwick and Funchal in Portugal, reports the Daily Star.
A drunk passenger was notable for her violent behavior on board. She hit other passengers and crew members.
“We were diverted to Lisbon because a drunk passenger started attacking other passengers and the crew,” a passenger told the Portuguese press.
The situation became so intolerable that the captain, fearing for the safety of the flight, decided to make an emergency landing in Lisbon to evacuate the violent passenger.
As we can see from these images, the Portuguese police had to intervene on the plane to arrest the drunk passenger. The police enter the booth to arrest him.

The crews are trained for such situations. However, in some cases, the situation can get out of control.
If a passenger becomes violent, the captain will be warned. He must make a decision based on the severity of the incident.
